It had been rumored for a while, and now it's officially official.
Defending national champion and No. 1 Ohio State will wear an all-black Nike alternate uniform October 17 vs. Big Ten East rival Penn State, Nike and the team announced Saturday morning.
This marks the first time Ohio State will wear a black uniform, and, to no surprise, it will come under the lights in primetime.
Along with the uniform, Nike is releasing the Ohio State Black Pack, a collection of fan jerseys, footwear, hats, and men?s and women?s T-shirts, which are available now at ohiostatebuckeyes.com and Buckeye Corner locations in Columbus, Ohio.
