WISCONSIN 28, TROY 7: BOX | PBP | RECAP | VIDEO
Two-way player Tanner McEvoy had one of No. 24 Wisconsin's three touchdown runs, and the Badgers wore down Troy for a 28-3 win Saturday. An odd game featured two Badgers defenders ejected for targeting, and a brief fourth-quarter delay for an errant fire alarm.

MIAMI (FL) 36, NEBRSKA 33 (OT): BOX | PBP | RECAP | VIDEO
Michael Badgley kicked a 28-yard field goal in overtime, and Miami wasted a 23-point fourth-quarter lead before beating Nebraska 36-33 on Saturday. Corn Elder intercepted a pass from Nebraska's Tommy Armstrong at the goal line on the first play of overtime, and the Cornhuskers added to their problems by having an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty tacked on the end of that play.

OHIO STATE 20, NORTHERN ILLINOIS 13: BOX | PBP | RECAP | VIDEO
Darron Lee returned an interception 41 yards for a touchdown and the Ohio State defense bailed out its struggling, two-quarterback offense as the top-ranked Buckeyes beat Northern Illinois 20-13 on Saturday. Cardale Jones started for the Buckeyes (3-0) and J.T. Barrett finished, but for the second straight week neither was particularly effective against an opponent Ohio State was expected to blow out.

VIRGINIA TECH 51, PURDUE 24 : BOX | PBP | RECAP | VIDEO
Quarterback Brenden Motley threw for two scores, ran for another and nearly caught a touchdown pass to help Virginia Tech get past Purdue 51-24 on Saturday. The Hokies (2-1) have won two straight since Motley replaced injured starter Michael Brewer, and coach Frank Beamer broke a tie with Paul "Bear" Bryant for the seventh most wins at one school in Football Bowl Subdivision history.

INDIANA 38, WESTERN KENTUCKY 35: BOX | PBP | RECAP | VIDEO
Jordan Howard ran for 203 yards and Nate Sudfeld threw for 355 yards and three touchdowns Saturday as Indiana held on for a 38-35 victory over Western Kentucky.
