One week after beating Oregon, No. 4 Michigan State dropped Air Force, 35-21, to highlight the Big Ten's early Week 3 action. No. 24 Northwestern also won at Duke, 19-10, to move to 3-0. Get caught up on all of Saturday?s early afternoon action below.

MICHIGAN 28, UNLV 7: BOX | PBP | RECAP | VIDEO
Ty Isaac ran for a career-high 114 yards, including a 76-yard touchdown midway, to help Michigan beat UNLV 28-7 Saturday. The Wolverines (2-1) have won two straight after opening with a loss at Utah under coach Jim Harbaugh. They led the Rebels (0-3) by 21 points after Isaac's run midway through the second quarter then didn't score again until early in the fourth.

MARYLAND 35, SOUTH FLORIDA 17: BOX | PBP | RECAP | VIDEO
Caleb Rowe threw for 297 yards and four touchdowns in his first start since 2013, and Maryland notched a flawed 35-17 victory over South Florida on Saturday. Rowe was named the starting quarterback in the wake of a 48-27 loss to Bowling Green last week. Despite throwing three interceptions, the junior completed 21 of 33 passes and provided enough big plays to help the Terrapins (2-1) finish with 411 yards in offense.

MICHIGAN STATE 35, AIR FORCE 21: BOX | PBP | RECAP | VIDEO
Connor Cook threw three touchdown passes in the first half – including one hauled in by Aaron Burbridge with a spectacular catch in the end zone – and No. 4 Michigan State beat Air Force 35-21 on Saturday. Cook ended up throwing for 247 yards and four touchdowns, and Burbridge caught eight passes for 156 yards and three TDs. The highlight was Burbridge's 28-yard scoring reception in the second quarter, when he leaped to make the catch and, as his body stretched parallel to the ground, touched his left foot down in bounds.

MINNESOTA 10, KENT STATE 7: BOX | PBP | RECAP | VIDEO
Mitch Leidner and Minnesota survived another shaky showing by the offense, using a second quarter touchdown pass to K.J. Maye to eke out a 10-7 victory Saturday over Kent State. Freshman cornerback Demetrius Monday was the star of a feisty performance by the Kent State defense, with two interceptions in the first half and an 80-yard touchdown return in the third quarter of a fumble he forced himself.

NORTH CAROLINA 48, ILLINOIS 14: BOX | PBP | RECAP | VIDEO
Marquise Williams threw three touchdown passes and also ran for 105 yards to help North Carolina beat Illinois 48-14 on Saturday. Williams led a big offensive performance for the Tar Heels (2-1), who had plenty to feel good about in a rout of a Power-Five nonconference opponent. The overhauled defense continued its improved play by surrendering just one touchdown through the first three quarters.

NORTHWESTERN 19, DUKE 10: BOX | PBP | RECAP | VIDEO
Warren Long ran 55 yards for a touchdown and recovered a fumbled punt return late to help No. 23 Northwestern beat Duke 19-10 on Saturday. Solomon Vault returned the opening kickoff of the second half 98 yards for the touchdown that put the Wildcats (3-0) ahead to stay.
