James Franklin went 24-15 and advanced to three bowls in his three seasons at Vanderbilt. He turned around the program that gave him his first head coaching job, and the new Penn State coach is forever grateful for the opportunity. On Monday, Franklin tweeted best wishes to Vanderbilt and new coach Derek Mason.

This isn't the first time Franklin has supported Vandy since he left for Penn State. He also cheered on the baseball team at the College World Series.
