Michigan State is the reigning Big Ten champ, and football fans will get a friendly reminder of that any time they tune in to a Spartans game this fall. The Spartans added "2013 Champions" under the "B1G" logos on the field and put a "Big Ten Champions" patch on the jersey. See pictures in this post.

This is a first. The logo debuted on fields in 2011 but wasn't mandatory until 2012. Wisconsin didn't put anything on its field or jersey to recognize its 2011 or 2012 Big Ten titles.
Speaking of championships, BTN sideline reporter Lisa Byington gave fans their first look at Michigan State's Rose Bowl ring.
