Don't think that actor Bill Murray has forgotten about Illinois' 2005 national championship loss to North Carolina, because he hasn't. Murray followed the 2005 Illini from the Chicago Regional to the national title game. He even gave the team a pep talk before a game.

Now, courtesy a recent TMZSports video, we see proof that Murray remains an Illini fan. In it, Murray jokingly gives a panhandler a hard time about being from North Carolina before going on a rant and finally giving him money.

"North Carolina?" Murray asked after seeing his ID, which he playfully throws into the air. "Sorry, can't help you man. You guys cheated us out of the national championship in 2005."
