Sports Illustrated has six regional covers for its college football preview issue, and one of them is dedicated to Ohio State and Braxton Miller. The cover features Miller on the run and reads: "This season it counts. The class of the Big Ten goes SEC hunting." The Buckeyes, who SI ranks No. 4 in its preseason poll, went 12-0 last season but were ineligible for the posteason due to NCAA sanctions.

The other SI cover boys include No. 1 Alabama; No. 2 Stanford; No. 3 Texas A&M; No. 5 Oregon; No. 6 South Carolina.
