By now, Indiana baseball fans know their team will open its first College World Series against Big East champion Louisville. What they may not know is what the Cardinals could be wearing. Louisville unveiled its new adidas CLIMALITE Sweet Spot uniforms in Sunday's Super Regional finale at Vanderbilt, and they are, um, interesting.

The school describes the new threads as a retro-inspired uniform similar to a design Louisville wore in the 1970's. That sounds about right, seeing as how it looks an awful lot like this forgettable Houston Astros design, also worn in the 70s.

Who knows if Louisville will wear this uniform Saturday in Omaha. One's got to think there's a good chance, though, because the the game is nationally televised (Eyeballs! Attention! Recruits!), the Cardinals are the "home" team, and they advanced to the CWS in the design.

This much is certain: One team will look sharp in its retro-inspired jersey, and it's Indiana, which sports a terrific old-school design.
