You know it's spring when the school mascots are getting reps with the football team. At Ohio State, Brutus even lined up at quarterback during a recent fan appreciation day. And while the mascot showed Braxton Miller-like ability to escape the rush, he wasn't fortunate enough to avoid David Perkins' bone-crushing, ball-dislodging hit.

Ouch! Here's to hoping that costume provides some kind of padding. The good news: Brutus got right back up and was a good sport about being leveled.
As for Perkins, nice form tackle, kid!
