Minnesota held UNLV to 10 yards on the ground during the second quarter and the Golden Gophers have taken the lead 7-3. Minnesota threw for 88 yards during the quarter.
James Gillum's 16-yard touchdown run gave the Golden Gophers the lead 7-3 after a six-play, 80-yard drive. Minnesota's drive was highlighted by MarQueis Gray's 39-yard pass to A.J. Barker.
