Some fashion trends are difficult to understand. Like the glasses-wearing fad sweeping the basketball nation. Throughout the NBA playoffs, superstars like LeBron James and Russell Westbrook donned rims — often without lenses — to the postgame press conference. So, of course, others are following suit, including Iowa guard Devyn Marble. See Marble's glasses in a HawkeyeInsider YouTube video in this post.

Think Marble had fun with the look? It's almost impossible to miss the smile on his face when he either placed the rims on or adjusted them right before the interview started. Nothing wrong with having a little fun.

Interestingly, Marble's fashion statement isn't the story with this interview/video. No, it's the rumor that the 2012-13 season could be Marble's last in Iowa City. The rising junior may declare for the 2013 NBA Draft — a long ways away, yes — and he didn't exactly quiet the rumors, saying: "If that happens it happens," and "It is what it is."

Marble averaged 11.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.5 steals per game as a sophomore.
