The third annual Soldier Salute and the 60th annual Ken Kraft Midlands Championships will live stream exclusively on B1G+, Dec. 29-30.
As wrestling season ramps up, fans can subscribe to B1G+, BTN's subscription service for non-televised events and archives of classic games and original content, with an annual pass for $89.99 per year or a monthly pass for $12.99 per month. The subscription includes access to both the Soldier Salute and the Midlands Championships, as well as more than 80 additional non-televised Big Ten wrestling events, 2025 Big Ten Wrestling Championships coverage and on-demand replays of televised duals. Additionally, you can watch up to four live streams/mats simultaneously on one screen at bigtenplus.com or with Apple TV.
Big Ten Network veteran wrestling broadcasters Shane Sparks and Tim Johnson will anchor the Solider Salute coverage on B1G+. The tournament is hosted by the Iowa City Area Sports Commission and 100% of the annual tournament proceeds will be split between the United Service Organizations (USO) and a development fund targeted towards the continued growth of high school girls wrestling. For the first two sessions on Dec. 29, B1G+ will feature 10 individual mat cameras along with whip-around coverage focused on the best action at a given moment. On Dec. 30, B1G+ will have individual mat cameras for both the men's and women's divisions in sessions three and four, along with the whip-around feed.
Individual mat cameras will be available on B1G+ for all four sessions of the Midlands Championships coverage. Set for its 60th iteration, the tournament will return to the NOW Arena in Hoffmann Estates, Ill., and will feature both men's and women's divisions.
Competitors from 12 Big Ten men's programs are expected to compete across both tournaments, including several ranked in Intermat's top 30.
