BTN Communications, March 2, 2023

The bracket is now set for the 2023 Big Ten Men's Ice Hockey Tournament, with No. 1 Minnesota earning the top seed and receiving an opening round bye, while the quarterfinals kickoff across campus this weekend.

Beginning on Friday, No. 2 seed Michigan, No. 3 seed Ohio State and No. 4 seed Notre Dame will own home ice for three best-of-three quarterfinal series played on campus. The Wolverines will host No. 7 seed Wisconsin on B1G+, while No. 3 seed Ohio State will welcome No. 6 seed Penn State on B1G+. Meanwhile, Notre Dame will host No. 5 seed Michigan State on FS2 and the FOX Sports app.

The No. 1 team in the nation and Big Ten regular season champion, Minnesota, earned a bye into the single-elimination semifinals, scheduled for March 11 on the Big Ten Network, and streaming on the FOX Sports app. While times are yet to be determined, the highest-seeded team advancing from the quarterfinals will host the second-highest advancing seed, while the lowest-seeded team will play at Minnesota.

The championship game will take place on March 18, once again airing live on BTN and the FOX Sports app. Fans can follow all the action on social media as well, via the @B1GHockey Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts.
