Five Big Ten teams made the NCAA softball tournament, it was announced Sunday night.

Big Ten regular-season and postseason champ Minnesota paces the quintet, while Illinois, Michigan, Ohio State and Wisconsin also made the field.
Despite boasting the nation's best record, the Golden Gophers do not host a regional; instead, they are traveling to the Tuscaloosa Regional.
