It's been an emotional last two weekends for Eron Harris.
Last Saturday, the Michigan State senior suffered a scary season-ending knee injury in his home state in a loss at Purdue. Eight days later, on Sunday night, he was celebrating Senior Day at the Breslin Center.
And what a day it turned out to be for the West Virginia transfer.
It all started with a surprise, as his mother sang the National Anthem, a moment that moved Harris to tears.
It got better, though. In the closing seconds of Michigan State's win vs. No. 16 Wisconsin, Harris, with a big brace on his injured right knee, surprised everyone by checking in for one last time, for the sole purpose of kissing the Spartan midcourt logo, a Michigan State Senior Day tradition.
Props to Tom Izzo and Michigan State for doing this, and also to Wisconsin for its class in allowing it to happen.
