We here at BTN always enjoy a good shoe highlight.
There's something funny about a player blowing a tire, and seeing how he reacts. Some continue to play like nothing happened. Some pick up the shoe and immediately tie it. And some pick it up and hold it in their hand until the next whistle.
Sunday, Nebraska's Jack McVeigh subscribed to the latter. After blowing a tire while making a move at the top of the key, the Australian brought the shoe back with him down the other side of the court to play defense, eventually trying to block a shot with his free hand.
