The Big Ten office released its latest weekly Big Ten men's basketball award winners Monday. See the latest honorees below.
Player of the Week: Nigel Hayes, Wisconsin, F - Sr. - 6-8
- Averaged 18.5 points, 8.0 assists and 6.5 rebounds per game in leading the Badgers to a pair of wins over #22/24 Syracuse and Oklahoma, which both advanced to the 2016 Final Four
- Shot 50.0 percent (12-of-24) from the field, including converting both of his three-point field goal attempts, and was 11-of-16 (.699) from the free-throw line
- Came up just one point shy of a triple-double with nine points, 10 assists and 11 rebounds against Syracuse in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge
- Poured in a game- and season-high 28 points on 8-of-13 shooting, and handed out six assists against zero turnovers versus the Sooners
- Passed former standouts Devin Harris and Kirk Penney to move into 10th place on Wisconsin?s all-time scoring list
- The two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection earns his first Big Ten Player of the Week nod

Freshman of the Week: Nick Ward, Michigan State, F - 6-8
- Averaged 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 2.0 assists per game in Michigan State?s contests at #5/4 Duke and versus Oral Roberts
- For the week, shot 72.2 percent from the floor, connecting on 13-of-18 field goal attempts
- Chipped in 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting and pulled down three rebounds against the Blue Devils
- Posted a double-double in the win over Oral Roberts, recording season-highs with 24 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and a pair of steals
- Earns his first Freshman of the Week honor
