Nigel Hayes did it all in Wisconsin's ACC/Big Ten Challenge victory over Syracuse on Tuesday night.

The preseason Big Ten Player of the Year was dropping dimes, cleaning the glass and scoring when needed, an all-around effort that helped the Badgers shred the Orange's vaunted zone defense.
He was so good that he went to the free-throw line for a 1-and-1 in the final minute, needing just one point to register the second triple-double in Wisconsin history.
Hayes missed, and Greg Gard took him out with a sparkling line of nine points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. His reaction was about what you'd expect.
As a result, Josh Gasser remains the only Wisconsin player to record a triple-double, doing so as a freshman at Northwestern.
