The Big Ten office released its Week 4 players of the week Monday, and three of the four names are first-time honorees. The only exception is Nebraska QB Tommy Armstrong Jr.

Offensive Player of the Week: Tommy Armstrong Jr., Nebraska, Sr., QB
- Accounted for 378 yards of total offense, including one touchdown, in Nebraska?s win at Northwestern
- Set a career high with 132 rushing yards, including a season-long 37-yard run
- Threw for 246 yards and a touchdown without an interception
- Claims the third Offensive Player of the Week award of his career

Defensive Player of the Week: T.J. Watt, Wisconsin, Jr., LB
- Recorded six total tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss, to guide Wisconsin to a road victory over Michigan State
- Registered a career-high 2.5 sacks, giving him 4.5 sacks over his last three games
- Added two quarterback hurries as the Badgers held the Spartans without a touchdown at home for just the second time since 2000
- Earns his first career Defensive Player of the Week honor

Special Teams Player of the Week: Ron Coluzzi, Iowa, Sr., P, Naperville, Ill./Naperville North
- Punted seven times for an average of 42.0 yards per punt, including a season-best 55-yarder, in Iowa?s win at Rutgers
- Had four of his seven punts downed inside the 20-yard line
- Placed all three of his kickoffs into the end zone for a touchback
- Earns his first career Special Teams Player of the Week honor

Freshman of the Week: Alex Hornibrook, Wisconsin, QB
- Threw for 195 yards and a touchdown in his first career start, leading the Badgers to a victory at Michigan State
- Excelled on third downs, going 9-for-13 for 136 yards and a touchdown
- Guided Wisconsin to its 11th win in its last 12 Big Ten road games and its first win at Spartan Stadium since 2002
- Wins his first career weekly award
