Nebraska shared the helmet decal it will wear to honor late punter Sam Foltz on Wednesday afternoon.
Assistant equipment manager Kyle Kotrous tweeted a picture of the decal, which features Foltz's initials, in red, and number (27), in white; the decal is affixed to the back left of the helmet, just above the players' number.
Foltz, the 2015 Big Ten Punter of the Year and a former walk-on from Greeley, Nebraska, was killed in a one-car accident returning home from a kicking camp in Wisconsin late last month. Foltz was the passenger in the car driven by former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler, who also died.
Well done, Nebraska.
