It's official: Michigan is a Nike school!
The university celebrated Nike becoming the school's official athletic footwear, apparel and equipment provider at midnight on Monday with a launch party the M Den store on South State Street in Ann Arbor.
Check out the video at the top of this post, welcoming the Nike Brand to Michigan.
Earlier today, Michigan football players began to release photos of their new apparel, including a first look at the cleats Michigan football players received.
I grabbed the photo and tweeted it out. What do you think?

Both Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh and Athletic Director Warde Manuel were in attendance to celebrate the deal with Nike, which is reportedly an 11-year, $127.12-million deal, with the option to extend the deal four more years for up to $173.8 million.
Michael Jordan himself is set to be the Wolverines' honorary captain when they host Hawaii in the 2016 college football season opener on Sept. 3 at Michigan Stadium.
