The 2016 MLB draft came to a close Saturday night.

The three-day event started Thursday night, and Illinois starting pitcher Cody Sedlock was the first Big Ten player off the board, going No. 27 to the Baltimore Orioles.
Nebraska outfielder Ryan Boldt (Tampa Bay) and Ohio State outfielder Ronnie Dawson (Houston) each went in the second round, No. 53 and No. 61, respectively.
Twelve of the 13 Big Ten teams had at least one player selected, with Ohio State's six selections leading the way.
