Do you remember the great Chic Harley?

Well, 100 years ago, during the 1916 college football season, Ohio State great Chic Harley earned the first of his three All-America honors as a Buckeye.

Today, Ohio State announced it will wear an alternate uniform during a game this season in honor of its first three-time All-American, who led the school to its first football conference championship in 1916.

Ohio State has not specified which game they will wear the throwback uniforms.

The crew at @11W tweeted out a photo of the throwback uniforms the Buckeyes will be sporting, which you can see at the top of this post.

There were mixed feelings on the all-black uniforms the Buckeyes wore last year, but these have a very old-school feel to them with the scarlet tops and the grey stripes. My guess is that long-time OSU fans will be excited about this new look.

What do you think, Buckeye fans?
