The bracket for the 2016 Big Ten Softball Tournament was released Sunday night, and Big Ten champion Michigan is the No. 1 seed.

The Wolverines, fresh off claiming their ninth consecutive Big Ten regular-season crown, earn a first-round bye into Friday's quarterfinals, along with No. 2 Minnesota, No. 3 Northwestern and No. 4 Penn State.
The top 12 teams make the tournament, held at Penn State, and all 11 games air live on BTN/BTN2Go, starting with No. 6 Ohio State vs. No. 11 Rutgers at noon ET Thursday.
