So, the former Indiana catcher and current Oakland Athletics' backup backstop can pitch a little.
We hadn't seen it until Sunday afternoon, though, when Phegley took the mound in Oakland's 11-3 blowout loss at Baltimore.
He fared quite well, fanning five-time All-Star Adam Jones (making him look silly in the process, to boot) and inducing a Mark Trumbo fly out in a clean 2/3 of an inning to close out the bottom of the eighth.
For the curious minds, Phegley reached 88 on the radar gun.
