Four Big Ten women's basketball teams played in the WNIT on Thursday night.
Rutgers won in thrilling fashion as Kahleah Copper made a game-winning shot with two seconds remaining to lift the Scarlet Knights to a 57-55 victory over Georgetown at the RAC.
Rutgers will host Virginia at the RAC in second round action on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. ET.
In other action, Ball State topped Iowa, 77-72, Nebraska fell to UNI, 64-62, and Northwestern lost to San Diego, 69-65.
