Joey King's senior season hasn't gone the way he envisioned.

After all, Minnesota brought a 2-14 Big Ten clip into its home finale Wednesday night vs. rival Wisconsin.
But the Eagan, Minnesota, native has played a big role for his home team in each of the past three seasons, scoring more than 1,100 career points and ranking as the program's best free-throw shooter (84 percent).
King received one last round of applause during the team's pregame senior night festivities.
