No. 1 Penn State took care of No. 2 Oklahoma State, 29-18, on Sunday to win the 2016 NWCA National Dual Championship Series title in front of another sell-out crowd (6,575).

The NWCA dual crown is Penn State's third championship of the season, as it also won its sixth straight Southern Scuffle title in early January and claimed a share of the 2016 Big Ten Regular Season title with Iowa.

The Nittany Lions end the regular season with a perfect 16-0 mark, including 9-0 in the Big Ten. The 16 dual meet victories are the most since Penn State won 17 in 2011 (17-1-1), and the perfect record marks the first time since 1972 (12-0) that a Penn State team has gone through the season, featuring at least 10 duals, without a loss or a tie.

Penn State will head to Iowa City, Iowa, for the 2016 Big Ten Wrestling Championships at the University of Iowa on March 5-6. The event, in Iowa?s Carver-Hawkeye Arena, begins on Saturday with an 11 a.m. session and a 7 p.m. ET session. The championship, serving as the NCAA qualifier for the conference, concludes on Sunday with a 1 p.m. session.
