The event, which started in 1977 and raises benefits for pediatric cancer patients, features more than 700 students dancing for 46 consecutive hours, officially ending at 4 p.m. ET Sunday.
Throughout the 46-hour marathon, Penn State athletic teams will rotate in to take part in raising money for the Four Diamonds Fund out of Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
A year ago, THON raised $13,026,653.23, bringing the total to more than $125 million.
