This is what in-state rivalries are all about.

Indiana took on Purdue Saturday night in a matchup that Big Ten fans will only get to see once in the regular season.

For 39 minutes, this game belonged to Yogi Ferrell and the Hoosiers, but Purdue made a furious comeback to make it a two-point game with under a minute remaining in the contest. That's when Purdue's A.J. Hammons was called for goaltending with 7.1 seconds remaining, giving Indiana a 77-73 lead, which would go on to be the final score of this memorable Big Ten showdown.

Troy Williams scored a game-high 19 points and Ferrell added 18 points as the Hoosiers improved to 12-3 in Big Ten play, putting them in sole first place of the conference standings.

The Hoosiers (22-6, 12-3) improved to 16-0 this season at Assembly Hall and also snapped a three-game losing streak to Purdue.

For just third time in the past 20 seasons, Indiana has 12 Big Ten wins in 15 games.
