The way Rachel Banham is torching the nets, we should just expect Kobe Bryant to tweet after every Minnesota game.
Eight days removed from scoring a Big Ten women's single-game record and an NCAA-tying 60 points, a performance the future NBA Hall of Famer tweeted about twice (here & here), Banham drained a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to send Minnesota past Iowa on Monday night.
Naturally, Bryant went to Twitter to congratulate one of his biggest fans, tweeting, "Clutch @rachelbanham15 not many players can side fade, let alone for a game winner #mambablood."
Banham finished the game with 35 points, to go along with nine rebounds and eight assists, just missing a triple-double.
Like the rest of us, Bryant is enjoying Banham's flat-out domination. So much so, three of his last 10 tweets (@kobebryant) are Banham-related.
Here is Bryant's tweet:
Another big-time star was watching Banham's latest heroics, too:
Stop it, Rachel Banham. It's unfair now...— Skylar Diggins-Smith (@SkyDigg4) February 16, 2016
