It was a great day for Mark Dantonio and the Michigan State Spartans.

MSU put together an outstanding 2016 recruiting class, which currently has 19 commits and ranks No. 18 in the nation, according to scout.com.

The Spartans' class currently features 12 four-star standouts, including four outstanding four-star receivers.

"We're very excited about our class," Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said. "These guys are in the mix for the next four or five years here and it's going to be very exciting to watch their development."
