Max Bielfeldt is averaging career bests across the board, and now the Indiana forward returns to the place where his college career started.

The former Wolverine will be back at the Crisler Center on Tuesday night, this time, for the first time, as the enemy.

Bielfeldt played three seasons in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and graduated last spring before opting to go to Indiana as a graduate transfer, to earn a master's degree from the Kelley School of Business.

The decision has paid off, as Bielfeldt is shooting 58 percent and averaging 8.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, one steal and 0.5 blocks in 19-plus minutes for the co-Big Ten leading Hoosiers.

In three seasons with Michigan, Bielfeldt averaged 2.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in 69 games.
