The debate over the Big Ten's best men's basketball team is one that includes at least a couple of candidates.

For what it's worth, the latest national polls, released Monday, agree that the answer is Maryland. The Terrapins come in at No. 4 (AP) and No. 3 (Coaches) to pace five Big Ten teams in the latest rankings.

Iowa (No. 5/No. 7), Michigan State (No. 10/No. 10), Purdue (No. 18/No. 16) and Indiana (No. 22/No. 21) round out the Big Ten's ranked teams.
