Bracketology: CBSSports.com's Jerry Palm has Iowa as No. 1 seed

It?s time to take the temperature of the Big Ten?s NCAA hopes with a weekly check of the mock brackets from Jerry Palm of CBSSports.com and Joe Lunardi of ESPN.

The Big Ten continues to look like a six-bid league. In fact, no other Big Ten teams are on the bubble, according to either bracket expert.

The big news: Iowa is a No. 1 seed by Palm after being a No. 2 last week. The Hawkeyes never have been a No. 1. The highest ever? A No. 2 seed in the 1987 Big Dance. Iowa is still a No. 2 by Lunardi.

No. 7 Michigan vs. No. 10 Florida State, East

No big movements for Palm. Michigan State, Maryland and Purdue all dropped one seed. Like Iowa, Indiana went up one seed; Michigan held steady.

In addition to Iowa, Michigan State and Michigan held steady this week; Maryland and Purdue each dropped a slot. Indiana moved up one spot.
