The Big Ten office released its latest Big Ten men's basketball weekly honors Monday, and Iowa guard Peter Jok took home Player of the Week for his role in helping the Hawkeyes sweep Michigan State and take down Michigan.

Player of the Week: Peter Jok, Iowa, G - 6-6 - Jr. - West Des Moines, Iowa - Valley
- Averaged 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game in leading the Hawkeyes to a pair of wins over #4/4 Michigan State and Michigan
- For the week, shot 58.3 percent from the field and 63.6 percent from three-point range, and converted all four of his free throw attempts
- In the win at Michigan State, scored a game-high 23 points, pulled down three rebounds and swiped a pair of steals as the Hawkeyes secured the season sweep over the Spartans
- Scored 16 points, including 14 in the second half, corralled four rebounds and handed out a pair of assists versus the Wolverines
- Currently averaging 15.4 points and 1.8 steals per game in conference play
- Earns his first career Player of the Week honor and is the third Iowa standout to be named Big Ten Player of the Week this season

Co-Freshmen of the Week: JaQuan Lyle, Ohio State, G - 6-5 - Evansville, Ind. - Huntington Prep
- Averaged 12.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game in Ohio State?s split versus Rutgers and Maryland
- Recorded the fifth triple-double in school history with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists in the win over the Scarlet Knights
- Chipped in nine points, pulled down three rebounds and handed out four assists at Maryland
- Currently boasts a 7.2 assist/turnover ratio with 43 assists against just 13 turnovers on the season
- Earns his first Freshman of the Week honor

Ethan Happ, Wisconsin, F - 6-9 - Milan, Ill. - Rockridge
- Averaged 13.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game in Wisconsin?s split against Northwestern and #4/4 Michigan State
- Scored 12 points, pulled down six rebounds and swiped three steals at Northwestern
- Scored 14 points and corralled eight rebounds in the win over the Spartans, including the game-winning field goal with 10.2 seconds remaining
- Currently leads the Big Ten with six double-doubles this season
- Earns his first Freshman of the Week honor
