Peter Jok scored 23 points and No. 16 Iowa went on to rout No. 4 Michigan State 76-59 on Thursday night. The victory marked the Hawkeyes' first road win over Michigan State since 1993, putting an end to an 18-game losing streak at the Breslin Center.
Iowa raced out to a 22-point halftime lead and never let the Spartans closer than 14 points.
Jarrod Uthoff had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while senior Anthony Clemmons added 13 points in his return home to Lansing.
The Hawkeyes dominated the Spartans for the second time in two weeks, accounting for both of Michigan State's losses this season.
Matt Costello led the Spartans with 15 points, while Denzel Valentine added 14 points, five assists and four rebounds in the loss.
