The Big Ten handed out its latest weekly men's basketball honors, and Michigan State's Bryn Forbes and Purdue's A.J. Hammons share the top honors. See all of the plaudits below.

Co-Players of the Week: Bryn Forbes, Michigan State, G - Sr. - 6-3 - Lansing, Mich. - Sexton

  • Poured in a career-high 32 points and pulled down three rebounds in the Spartans? overtime win over Oakland, preserving Michigan State?s unbeaten record
  • Converted 9-of-15 field goals, including seven three-pointers
  • Currently ranks second in the Big Ten with 38 three-point field goals
  • Earns his first career Big Ten Player of the Week honor

A.J. Hammons, Purdue, C - Sr. - 7-0 - Gary, Ind. - Oak Hill [Va.] Academy

  • Scored 21 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and recorded seven blocks in the Boilermakers? win over nationally ranked Vanderbilt
  • Converted 9-of-16 field goals and was 3-of-4 from the free throw line
  • Posted his 19th career double-double, including his fourth this season
  • Enters conference play as one of only four players in Big Ten history to score at least 1,200 points, corral 750 or more rebounds and record at least 275 blocks
  • Earns his third career Big Ten Player of the Week honor

Freshman of the Week: Corey Sanders, Rutgers, G - 6-2 - Lakeland, Fla. - West Oaks Academy

  • Poured in a season-high 21 points, corralled five rebounds and handed out a pair of assists in the Scarlet Knights? win over Fairleigh Dickinson
  • Converted four of the Scarlet Knights? seven three-pointers
  • Currently leads all Big Ten freshmen in scoring (13.5 ppg) and steals (1.6 spg) while ranking second among conference freshmen in assists (3.5 apg)
  • Earns his first Freshman of the Week honor
