A guy nicknamed "Boo" brought the Michigan faithful to its feet Friday night at Yost Ice Arena.

Senior forward Cristoval "Boo" Nieves delighted the fans with a highlight-reel goal that saw him split three defenders on a rush from his own blueline and go top-corner in the Wolverines' 8-3 victory over Minnesota.
It was a significant goal, too. It broke a 2-2 tie early in the second period and sparked a Michigan run that included six of the game's final seven goals.
