No football, no problem. The first Saturday sans Big Ten football features 11 Big Ten men's basketball teams in action.
Earlier on BTN, Penn State held off Louisiana-Monroe in its return to Rec Hall, No. 6 Maryland cruised past Maryland Eastern Shore, and Indiana topped McNeese State.
In other Big Ten men's basketball action: Ohio State lost to Connecticut, Michigan cruised by Delaware State, Wisconsin came up short against Marquette, Illinois got by UIC, Purdue beat Youngstown State, Rutgers fell to George Washington, and Michigan State remained unbeaten with a win over Florida.
