The Big Ten took center stage in the college basketball world on Friday night.
There were a total of eight games featuring Big Ten men's basketball teams, highlighted by No. 3 Maryland's 65-58 win over Rider.
The conference went 4-4 overall on Friday as Michigan State cruised by Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 92-46, Minnesota topped Missouri State, 74-69, and Northwestern got the best of Columbia, 83-80.
On the losing end, Wisconsin fell to Georgetown, 71-61, Penn State lost to Duquesne, 78-52, and Michigan fell short to Xavier, 86-70.
