Whether you root for Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, or another Big Ten school, the hashtag #ChadTough carries a meaningful message.
The hashtag is in honor of Chad Carr, the five-year-old grandson of former Michigan coach Llyod Carr. Chad was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Giloma (DIPG) brain cancer last September. It was announced on Wednesday that Chad had entered hospice care.
Michigan?s football players are paying tribute to Chad this afternoon against Indiana by writing the hashtag #ChadTough on their helmets.

This is a beautiful move by the Michigan football players.
We are all #ChadTough today.
