Six Big Ten men's basketball teams are ranked in the preseason AP Poll, released Monday afternoon.

Big Ten preseason favorite Maryland leads the way at No. 3, trailing No. 1 North Carolina and No. 2 Kentucky.

Michigan State (No. 13), Indiana (No. 15), Wisconsin (No. 17), Purdue (No. 23) and Michigan (No. 25) round out the Big Ten's ranked teams.

Iowa is the only Big Ten team receiving votes (6).

For what it's worth, the preseason Coaches Poll, released last month, features five Big Ten teams.
