Saquon Barkley is as exciting as any college football player with the ball in his hands.
The Penn State true freshman running back drops Big Ten fans' jaws on a weekly basis. In Saturday afternoon's 39-0 win vs. Illinois, Barkley ripped off a 7-yard scoring run, highlighted by a ground-covering hurdle, that will put him on all of the national highlight shows.
Barkley took the direct snap inside Illinois' 10-yard line, ran to his right, bounced it further outside, and left his feet from the 4-yard line before landing in the end zone.
Making the play even better: Barkley lost his left shoe on his way to his feet, as Illinois defensive back Taylor Barton ripped it off.
