Since 2009, 13 of the toughest patients at the Iowa Children's Hospital have participated in Iowa's Kid Captain program.

Each young fan is treated to a unique Iowa football experience, and last year, Lincoln Ortman, 5, was first in line.
Ortman, who was born with a hemangioma and diagnosed with PELVIS syndrome, a congenital condition, just so happens to be the nephew of Iowa freshman walk-on defensive back Isaiah Kramme.
