The Buckeyes, No. 1 for the ninth straight week, including the preseason poll, are receiving 73 of a total 124 first-place votes following its convincing 38-10 victory vs. Penn State.
Big Ten East rival Michigan State, fresh off its improbable last-second win at ranked Michigan, remains No. 7 in the AP and No. 4 in the Coaches.
Undefeated Iowa (No. 12/No. 13) moved up five and four spots, respectively, after dismantling previously ranked Northwestern on the road, while Michigan (No. 15/No. 18) drops three spots in both polls as a result of its heartbreaking loss to instate rival Michigan State.
Northwestern fell out of both rankings.
