Tonight's 'B1G Close Up' to feature Penn State and Wisconsin volleyball

On Sept. 30, BTN Originals breaks new ground with the second installment of their one-hour series "B1G Close Up" - which will feature the Sept. 23 volleyball match between Wisconsin and Penn State. Wisconsin entered the match ranked No. 16, looking to take down No. 1 Penn State.

The Nittany Lions volleyball team has built a dynasty in State College, winning six of the past eight National Championships and four in a row from 2007-2010. In the three days leading up to the match, BTN?s cameras were embedded with each program, providing viewers an unparalleled glimpse into two perennial volleyball powers.

The documentary style show will take viewers behind the scenes, including practice, weightlifting, team meetings and around campus.

The second edition of B1G Close Up from BTN Originals, the same group that produces The Journey, airs this Wednesday immediately following the conclusion of the Illinois-Wisconsin volleyball match on the Big Ten Network (approximately 10 p.m. ET).
