Sunday was a special day for former Big Ten stars and longtime friends Melvin Gordon and Trae Waynes.

Five months after the Kenosha, Wisconsin, natives were selected in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft (Waynes, No. 11; Gordon, No. 15), Gordon's San Diego Chargers visited Waynes' Minnesota Vikings in Week 3 NFL action.
Following Minnesota's 31-14 victory, in an expected move, Gordon and Waynes did the popular jersey swap on the field. See the picture of it in the tweet above.
As for how the former Big Ten stars performed, Gordon (Wisconsin) ran 14 times for 51 yards and Waynes (Michigan State) tallied five tackles and one pass defended.
