Austin Appleby completed a lot of deep passes in Saturday afternoon's 38-14 win vs. Indiana State.

The Purdue quarterback tossed a trio of touchdown passes of at least 50 yards, but there was another long "completion" that went largely unnoticed.
It was the one to the cop, standing by the end zone, on an overthrow in the third quarter.

This whole thing is pretty great, from the catch to the spike to the fellow cop catching the spike like it was no big deal.
