There was a time when Nebraska and the Orange Bowl were synonymous.
[ MORE: Big Ten teams debuted several new uniform designs in Week 2 ]
The Huskers went to 17 Orange Bowls, the first in 1955 and the last in 1998, and won four of their national championships in Miami (1970, 1971, 1994 & 1997).
With Nebraska headed back to Miami to face the Hurricanes at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday, adidas, which outfits both programs, is rolling out special cleats to mark the occasion.
Miami will sport individualized cleats for every player, while Nebraska players will be wearing the Miami-inspired cleats in the photos above and below.
The palm tree is a nice touch, but not as nice as the 17 "N's" to account for each Nebraska Orange Bowl.
What do you think, Big Ten fans?
An homage to #Huskers history in Miami.
